Mona Diamond Sunshine
Mona Diamond Sunshine founded ATFC in 2005 to foster closer relations between the US and Türkiye. She previously served as Turkish Honorary Consul General for the State of Georgia.
President
Ömer Küçük, MD, FACN
Ömer Küçük is a hematology professor at Emory University’s Winship Cancer Institute. He has over 200 peer-reviewed publications and earned his medical degree from Hacettepe University.
Executive Director
Esat Sezer
Esat Sezer has over 30 years of global Fortune 200 leadership experience. He previously served as global CIO at Whirlpool and Coca-Cola Enterprises, and is a co-founder of Ritmus A.Ş.
Secretary
Esra Mirze Santesso, Ph.D.
Dr. Santesso is an associate professor of English at the University of Georgia. Her research focuses on postcolonial literature, Muslim identity, and diasporic human-rights narratives.

Atinc Sonmezer
Atinc Sonmezer is an entrepreneur and president of MEDA Brands. He brings over 20 years of experience in e-commerce, international trade, and non-profit strategic planning.

Doğan Eroğlu retired from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention after a 25-year career as a behavioral scientist and associate director for communication science. He previously served on the faculty of Georgia State University’s College of Business and has lived in Atlanta with his family for more than three decades.

Ahmet C. Bozer served as an executive vice president of The Coca-Cola Company and as president of Coca-Cola International beginning in 2013. He retired from the company in March 2016 after a distinguished global business career.

Akgun Seckiner is co-owner of the BOCCHI-Sanikey Group and managing partner of BOCCHI USA Inc. and Bocchi UK LLC. He also serves Georgia State University through its Alumni Association and Center for International Business Education advisory board.
