Turkish Movie Night

We send our heartfelt thanks to our guests, individual donors and sponsors for attending and/or supporting ATFC's Turkish Movie Night. Each and every one of you made our event a great success!

Funds collected at the Movie Nights are donated to underprivileged children both in Turkey and in the U.S. through ATFC's Change for Life project.

To date, the ATFC has raised over $600K to provide school supplies, coats, boots, healthcare, and shelter to over 10,000 students. Furthermore, with the generous contributions received, ATFC provided scholarships to 83 students in Turkey, elementary through college, including 31 graduates. Some of these recipients graduated to become medical doctors, nurses, architects, attorney generals, teachers and government employees.
In 2016, ATFC supported:
- U.S.: Jesse's House, an emergency youth shelter focused on at-risk female youth, ages 7-17, in Atlanta.
- Turkey: Students/schools in Antakya, Turkey.
In 2017, ATFC will support:
- U.S.: My Sister’s House, a homeless and rehabilitation shelter for women and their children.
- Turkey: Students/schools in small villages of Kars, Turkey. Kars is the hometown of Mr. Tolbert Yilmaz, ATFC Board Member and longtime sponsor
